Happy Halloween

Robin and Griffin had an exciting Halloween. We spent the weekend at Grandma and Gramdpa's house and got to visit with most of the family. Monday afternoon the both of them had to go in to the doctors for vaccines which we were a bit nervous about. We warned Robin ahead of time and told her she'd probably cry for a minute and that Griffin would cry for maybe 5 minutes which they both did. But all was forgotten when we got home and started getting ready for trick or treating. Robin was a pirate and Griffin a dragon. Robin ran from house to house and we covered most of the houses on the street. At first she was a bit shy but soon realized that saying these magical words...trick or treat...brought her lots of candy. She filled up her little pail
in no time and had to stuff a bunch in Daddy's pockets. We drove back to Ladysmith and the next day she wanted to go trick or treating again. I bet she'll be pretty excited next year when she sees all the pumpkins in the stores!
