Back to Rankin

Dogs getting loaded onto plane in Ottawa

Iqaluit Airport

Matt killing time

Matt and I arrived back in Rankin yesterday evening after a long day of sitting around in Iqaluit. We had a 5 hour lay over where we slept on our luggage outside, walked the dogs, read books, did macro shots of flowers and played with the ipod. I got a sunburn but it's not so bad today. It's nice to be back and see the snow and birds and flowers. This morning we walked out to the bay and watched the ice chunks float by. We thought we might get to move into our new place today but when Matt called we found out it's Nunavut Day so I guess there will be some things going on in town today. We'll go check it out soon...
